things got a lil better

so it's been a few months since the last journal i put out that was essentially just a bitchpost, and in that time there's been gradual but continued betterment towards a lot of aspects of my life. we finally moved out of the shithole apartment we were in back in december into a place much better suited for actually thriving in as a human being, and i got back my job full-time. it does chew a good bit of time out every week for me, but it's at least worth it being able to actually be content with our situation as opposed to living in fear every day we were gonna be homeless.
something else that definitely helped my mood as of (very) recently was being able to attend Fur The More this year as our first furry convention, especially with being in proximity of so many people in the community both local and from completely different parts of the country/world. i'm not really much of a talker in person and not much really changed while we were there, but it was pretty fucking great getting to belt bored by deftones at the late night karaoke on saturday. not to mention the panels we got to see and the people we got to meet across the con space, definitely helped me feel a little less like some holed up shrew like i tend to feel in public spaces.
