Hi everyone, if you're reading this - it's been a WHILE!
I lost my love of drawing due to some deep struggles finding a job in the art world, and the difficulty and stress from going to art school and how it impacted me.
Additionally, my health has been an issue for me and getting diagnoses has been nearly impossible. Day to day living is very tiring. I had gotten a 9-5 job in marketing, but it wasn't worth the detriment to my mental health or physical health, so I left. I'm now doing smaller forms of self-employment to make money and am extremely lucky to have a partner who helps me.
Now, I'm finally coming back to drawing after stopping for an extremely long time (except maybe once or twice). My favorite thing to do is sketch so I'll probably just upload unfinished sketches here.
I'd also consider doing some sketch commissions if anyone is interested (feel free to send me a note).
Most of my journals are some sort of return from hiatus, I'm noticing LOL. Now, I'm prioritizing my well-being and love of art. So let's hope this one sticks!
