I wanted to evoke a similar aesthetic as the pen-and-ink illustrations found within the Redwall novels since they were the primary inspiration for my game.

After searching online for more information about the game I stumbled over your page. I would have not guessed that you had an FA account, though in hindsight it makes sense.

Do you happen to have any recording for any playtest you might have done in prep for launch? I'm curious to see how it plays. Or maybe even where you got the inspiration for your system, since you don't mention it being based on another one. Great choice on D6s, that makes it so much easier to get going (instead of going to get new dice).

I don't have any recordings of the game in action, unfortunately. I don't have the tools or skills to assemble demonstration videos currently.
I looked to various ttrpgs for reference when devising the rules and mechanics for Woodlander. D&D 5e served as the baseline, of course, with systems like Fate, Burning Wheel, Pathfinder, GURPS, the One Ring, and various OSR titles further informing my ideas
