I'm in sort of rough communication with his sister at the moment.
I probably shouldn't go into details here but suffice to say it seems pretty serious, in a stable condition but prepare for the worst kind of thing.

I knew Purple back in the Tapestries days. We shared a lot of whacky things and talked in IMs and played around. He was one of the few people who I felt safe around. He's a good person, and he is loved. We lost contact over the years for one reason or another, and I hope that he recovers quickly. I nearly died last year, and I understand how hard it is to keep going.
To Purple: You're loved, you have so many people who respect and admire you, and I still feel safe around you, even if we don't talk anymore. You're a good person.
To Zombie: Thanks for updating us. You're a good lad too.
