Update on PurpleCat/Ailure, March 27th

I'm getting updates on a third-hand basis, so apologies on a lack of details. Might be easier to just paste their sister's exact words:
"I'm at the hospital again, the doctor is pretty optimistic today. They've cut down on many of his medicines and right now he's breathing on his own. He's still in the ICU and he still has a long way to go but we're feeling a bit more hopeful now."
Sounds like they're still under heavy sedation and it'll be a long road to recovery, but things are trending upwards at least.

Actually, I don't suppose you know any other communities they were active in? I've spread the word here and on bluesky but I'm not sure of anywhere else they may have frequented.
Not a religious person but I'll do a prayer for his recovery
