General Yondard Story PT2
I do not have the entire story and sequence of events planned out and set in stone, but I want to have somewhere to post a general overview of what the story would have been without going into many minute details.
Additional note, Fennia would have generally been the character to explain stuff to for the sake of exposition, while Kolruu would be Fennia's support, compared to Taiga and Rah, whom are effectively the two mains.
Yolonda would find herself laying on the ground, missing her right ring. She is unable to move and is somewhat delirious. She recalls being a human... but also having memories of a Yondard. She remembers being experimented on and being combined with said Yondard. There were others, but she seemed to be the only success... if barely, as the Yondard side of her mind was fading. And with that fading was her ability to move (There is an explanation but that gets into what Yondards *are* and that I will save for another time).
She tries to escape, but something, a bat-rabbit Yondard blasted her wing nearly clean off right as she was about to fly off. The fall did the rest of the job, removing the damaged limb.
At this point, Yolonda was slowly dying... very slowly. She has no idea how long she's been lying in that same spot alone. As there's no sun nearby she loses all sense of time. She fades in and out of consciousness for long periods, practically begging to die.
She would eventually wake up, seeing a band of bandit Yondards having stumbled upon her, and trying to figure out what to do with this 'Autyon'. It may have been beat up, but it may be useful still. But the bandits were tailed by a large Yondard. Despite being outnumbered, they are easily defeated and devoured. It was an odd being with some glowing fur, but for some reason Yolonda... the memories of the Yondard that was a part of her recognized him. She called out to him, Kolruu.
Her conscious faded, but came to relatively quickly. It was Kolruu, albeit looking a bit different... no glowing fur and overall less dangerous looking. He offers some edimas (Edimas being the general term for 'food', Edible Mass) and she eats it... finding it disgusting. While Yolonda asks why he doesn't just eat her, Kolruu mentions that she's far too large... plus she's an old friend. He recognizes her as Fennia... Fennia was the one who was forcibly fused into Yolonda. That said, both Kolruu and Fennia are much larger than the other remember, but neither get into explaining it. Knowing that her knowlege of the world under the surface is rather low, Yolonda takes on the name "Fennia",and claims to have some amnesia, caused from the incident and whatever amount of time she spent half dead. This also means she avoids having to explain her current situation.
While 'Fennia' clearly saw Kolruu eat some Yondards, Kolruu isn't quite fine with it. However, due to a condition, he has to eat a Yondard every so often. Fennia has no means to go against him and agrees to help him. Kolruu does seem to be glad to have someone to talk to, even an old friend, Fennia basically sees her life as out of her hands. She can't move on her own (although, being an Autyon now, Kolruu is able to control her movements by riding inside her), and her old life is now a distant memory.
Kolruu is effectively a nomad and just traveles around. But with Fennia, travel is easier, and he eventually makes it to Potts. And he's there purely to find a Yondard to eat before moving on...
