Me and my commission prices...
I have a Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/c/itstherippah
... For the 5 people that decided to look here...
I've been told that my prices are kinda low. It was only one person and I don't believe this is something anyone else really considers (pertaining to me). However, I will say that my prices are relatively low purely because there's no real demand. Same reason why I don't intentionally do times posts between my Patreon and everywhere else: lack of demand.
Due to my lack of a car and distance from work, whatever money I do get from commissions nowadays goes to travel expenses and supporting others through Patreon for the most part. Overall, no 'profit', just more leeway to use the money I make off of my day job. I probably could get away with taking the bus home from work but I do have to tend to my mother and, admittedly, not spending an hour and a half to get home is... nice, so I call to get a ride.
Not to say I'd ideally would charge over $100 for my work but I'd be more willing to price above $50 if I could. But I'm getting some money, at the very least.
As for patreon, at this point I surmise that I won't make much money off ot it. But, again, it's something. I have no idea how to advertise my patreon, nor do I know how to give any sort of incentive, even for the free tier.
Anyway I am just rambling and wanting to touch base with anyone who reads.
