I do not have the entire story and sequence of events planned out and set in stone, but I want to have somewhere to post a general overview of what the story would have been without going into many minute details.
These are effectively just some ideas I have for this part of the 'timeline' of sorts.
-In their travels, Rahtinah and Taiga would meet up with one of the splintered Galbald tribes, which Rah was a part of in her youth. While the others are greatful of her return (and Taiga being impressed with how well they are treating her), Rahtinah wants nothing to do with them. They also reveal that 'Rahtinah' is not her actual name, it's simply the name she came up with after she ran away, as she loathed the name 'Croakless', and didn't want to be known, being part frog, for her inability to proplerly croak like a frog.
Eventually, they capture Rah and it's revealed that Rahtinah is part of a 'set' of Gabalds that are meant to fuse and become a guardian Autyon, with Rah serving as, effectively, the brain to a limited degree. When Rahtinah ran away, the village splintered off into smaller sects, doing their own thing. While not wholly unfazed by the revelation, Rah still refuse to carry on with the plan. Taiga decides to save Rah the best way he can: Reading. Looking through the the various documents and books, Taiga crunched to come up with a way to legally cause the village to have to give up on her. He eventually would, bringing up a loophole pertaining to the fact that she was his wife, and had absorbed a part of him (which is true. Taiga's Jacket, even if not physically attatched to him like a body part, is a part of him. And under Black Maw law, the jacket acts as, for all intents and purposes, is equivilant to a crown. And giving his jacket to Rahtinah to keep (even if he's still wearing it) acts as his marriage to her.
Taiga would retrieve Rahtinah, who is nonplussed about the revelation that she married him. He would later tell her to consider the 'union' null and void. At least they're out.
Rahtinah and Taiga would also eventually run into Mephamb, whom Rahtinah knew in his youth. He doesn't like her very much due to how she broke up the tribe. How the meeting would fully go, I don't actually know.
One place would have a fighting tournament, where first place was a grand prize. However, neither Rahtinah nor Taiga are interested enough to enter... but they decide to watch. One of the entrants is a cloaked figure, and watching him fight, Rahtinah slowly realizes who he was. The figure easily fights any opponent that faces him, but he eventually points out Rahtinah in the audience. Taiga would note the fear and apprehension in her face, but she acquiesce to the demand. They fight for a brief period, with Rahtinah seemingly holding her own... but she knows her opponent isn't trying.
He would eventually uncloak himself. While Taiga didn't know his fighting style, he instantly recognizes the face of one of the ones who aided Zumina in taking over Black Maw, Master Ongbok B'Gok. Rahtinah was unaware of this as well.
Ong merely wanted to test his former pupil out and quickly defeats her, leaving her and Taiga, but claiming that they'll meet again soon enough.
