One Whole Year at FA
Hard to think a year has passed since I made this account. I don't really have much to say except a huge thanks to all my watchers and another for all the favorites I've received. I'm just happy to have found a creative outlet again, but even a small bit of recognition has helped my mood from time to time.
I have no big plans other than maybe posting my work on other sites. I'm not the biggest fan of most social media sites in their current form, but I know there are plenty of options out there.
Otherwise I'll still be trying to upload a couple of pictures a month.

And I have to be curious, do you plan on doing commission or the like at some point? My dragon would love to make the acquaintance of some of your ladies sometime, haha! XD
As for commissions, the short answer is "no." At least for the moment.
I have thought about commissions (and other ways of monetization) when I first decided I would start making this kind of art, and it is an idea I revisit with myself every now and then. Currently, the reasons why I'm not taking commissions are:
1) I work full time, and I don't really need the extra money. I'm certainly not rich, but money was never really a strong motivator for me.
2) My art is my hobby. It's really more of a side hobby for when I take a break from my main hobbies. I have, a few times, done other hobby activities for money, and it can (and sometimes has) reduce a hobby from something relaxing to something more like work or a chore. So I'm more hesitant to take on commissions because, for the moment, I don't want something that's supposed to relax me do the opposite and give me stress.
3) I consider myself fairly amateur at art. I've been drawing or painting in some form on and off throughout my life, but I don't have any "formal" training. There's still plenty of things I'm trying to practice, and I'm still learning new things, both with drawing and painting, and with the software I use. Because of this, there are some scenes/poses/situations I've tried to sketch or work out that I can't seem to get them quite right. I'd hate to take on a job only to find out there's a gap in my skill and knowledge that prevents me from giving a customer what they asked for in a painting.
4) It may be a bit selfish, but I have ideas that I want to paint before I start painting other people's ideas.
That's about the long and short of it. So not a "no" forever, but a "no" for the moment. I'll probably think about again it in the future, but there are some things I need get sorted out in my art and my life before I give any more serious thought to the idea.
And I say, it's a good thing if you can draw just for yourself. I for one will continue enjoying your lovely works, haha!
...that said, would you accept fanart of your ladies with other's OCs in a nsfw situation? XP
looking forward to the new stuff you will post, you sure do nice looking scalie ladies :3
(i would also be curious about commissions like the above poster commented !)
As far as commissions go, I'm not doing any commissions at the moment. I cover my reasons in another reply in this journal, so please read that if you want a full explanation.
