Any special reason why they're your main? They've existed for ages and was one of my first characters I ever made. When finding out about fursonas, it just sorta made sense for them to be it. Though they've definitely changed over the years, haha.

How has FA changed since you joined? Oh boy, that's a big question. I've been on here since ... 2007 with my original account. It use to be a lot smaller. It also felt a bit, shall we say, interconnected? For example, journals were as likely to be about personal updates as it was commission info. The other big change was much less things were considered too taboo for the site, other than humans were kinda discouraged. Anyone else around for the era of Krystal Can't Enjoy her Sandwich meme?
Why does furry art appeal to you? I guess because I like animals. I've always loved furry art and remember being a little kid drawing them.
Do you go to any cons/gatherings? I do! The main furry one I go to these days is MFM in Memphis, TN though.
What kinda hobbies do you have? Drawing, occasionally sewing or working with clay. Reading manga/graphic novels, watching anime. Video games, especially mobile ones. (OBSESSED with Twisted Wonderland.)

The interconnected feeling of the site is a great description - I know exactly what you mean and agree. There was a lot more personal connection (and honestly, drama!!) and it certainly feels a little more removed from that element now.

I appreciate sewing and for years dreamed of making my own stuff. Fabric is hella expensive though so it's not something I want to waste learning XD! I may have to try again soon because I have a machine and all, it would make sense!

You're right, there was more drama going around back in the day as well, haha. I'm also sure there's still that connection, but I feel like it's probably moved more to the discord than on the site proper.

That's fair! That said, you might consider some small projects for learning to sew. Felt dolls are a good way to start since felt is very cheap. Though that's more hand sewing than machine sewing. Honestly, I don't know a ton of sewing since I'm largely self-taught. The machine scares me, haha. But I've figured out enough to fake it over the years, haha. Fabric can get expensive though, yeah. Thank goodness for good sales!

Honestly, just some butter when the bread is crisp and hot, so that the butter melts and softens the bread just slightly. <3 But I also found some cinnamon honey that's pretty tasty on it as well. And I'll never say no to french toast. XD

YOu are so right about discord! It makes me kinda bummed though because when the majority of people chatting are online it's during either my work hours or when I'm asleep so I miss loads. Clearly I need to find more old school forums hahaha

Smaller projects is sensible to start. I got some pretty squares to use that I keep just wanting to sew together to practice straight lines rather than anything more technical. Foundations baby!!!

FRENCH TOAST IS MY WEAKNESSSSSSS I adore it.

My favourite snack though? Gosh it depends on the season XD In summer I adore cherries and fresh fruit in general. A good home baked cookie is always a win. Now it's Spring I love a daily creme egg XDDD

How has FA changed since you joined? The front page wasn't just a mountain of YCHs and their endless reminders in past... The new interface was dysfunctional and I have not tried it since and at this point I'll only use it if the old one gets retired.
Why does furry art appeal to you? I like animal people very much lol, as a kid I was really fond of the whole ancient egyptian pantheon and anything cats was awesome lol
Do you go to any cons/gatherings? When I lived in Estonia I tried to go to all I could that I could afford to, now I live in Norway and perhaps it can happen again since I recently got a full time job and there are dorrals again soon ~
What kinda hobbies do you have? I design/build/repair/enhance anything electronics, program every now and then, do music and art(haven't done either for years now...) and play some Mega Drive sometimes.
Favourite snacks? I'm a sucker for fruits, the sweeter the better lol. (Yellow) apples, bananas (with no hint of greenness), pears(that have turned yellow) and oranges(Navel variety in particular) are the favorites. Oranges have my favorite color and the catman's color is no coincidence either lol.

Sweet fruits are god tier. I keep getting adverts for exotic fruit bundles and the temptation to buy them is so real. I may try to in summer to really enjoy them!

I have been there for a bit more than 2 years now and only recently got a job so the stay is definitely going to be permanent now, with the GF because of whom I moved in the first place ~

Yeah, they just go poof... The idea that I should is never gone from the head but there's just so many things to do... but I will do some music and pixel art stuff for a project that is getting closer and closer to needing these things ~

There's no need to wait for summer to try those things, give in and enjoy them now (aaaand in the summer too !)

Chilled fruit ? To the distribution centers yes, but in the shops and whatnot ...? I suppose some would rather be chilled for better storage capability but it is not something I see done in this part of the world except for a few specific items. In any case it won't take long for something out in the open to warm up, regardless of time of year ~

How has FA changed since you joined? I kinda feel it hasn't in a lot of ways. Still horribly outdated, mediocre interface, all the usual furry gripes. Just watching the furry tides fluff by as the fandom's tastes ever evolves
Why does furry art appeal to you? Because anthros are really fun and open up people's imagination I find. They get more adventurous faster than they do with human art I find.
Do you go to any cons/gatherings? I used too. Funding priorities have changed over the years and I find it harder to justify the expense these days. I kinda miss them, but also would feel old at a con these days.
What kinda hobbies do you have? TTRPGs, video games, reading, movies/tv, crafting (I miss pottery it's so expensive)
Favourite snacks? I have a vicious sweet tooth, various kinds of gummy candies are my favourite. It's hard to beat a Jelly Baby, when I can find them on this side of the pond.

I am not a massive fan XD idk why, I love sweets. I love fruit pastels, can dig a wine gum, but jelly beans and jelly babies are a no from me. I wonder if it's a texture thing....

It's definitely a texture thing with the Jelly babies, I love that they have texture different than other jelly candies. Wine gums are probably my second favourite
