back pain news

Finally, I started to recover. I started taking pills that help me with my muscle spasms, which caused a pinched nerve. I have been taking them for 5 days now. Finally, I can bend over and reach for something with my hands. All these two weeks, I could just sit, surrounded by pillows, so that my back did not strain. Watch your posture while working and do not skimp on a good chair. It is very painful and unpleasant.
Yesterday was the first day I allowed myself to sit down and work. 2 hours of drawing with frequent breaks for gentle exercises.
This is only half the way and there is still a lot of work on myself and love for my body ahead, but do not worry, soon I will return to the previous rhythm.

No matter how much you want to get back to your old pace, go slow and be gentle with yourself. It takes a lot longer than you think. Even when you are feeling better, you're still healing. Trust me. And good luck. We're all rooting for you.
I went through something similar last summer. The doctors wound up doing a 'procedure' on my spine which involved injections of steroids directly into my spinal cord. It was supposed to work immediately but I guess they meant 'in two months'. It's better now but it will never be 100% without surgery.
