I normally never write journals here because I just use FA for collecting and showing off art made by other people, but in this case I felt it was important enough to share, since it will have an impact on my orders.

So this morning I logged into my Paypal account to upload some money to it from my bank account, and found out I was unable to. "No access to this service" or something. Since I used Paypal with no issues just last month, I had no idea what the problem could be. After googling, I discovered that this issue is linked to iDEAL, giving some kind of error making bank transactions impossible. This issue exists since December 2024, and neither Paypal or iDEAL is trying to solve it.

Unfortunately that means I currently am unable to use Paypal in any way. Since a lot of artists here use it for commission payment, that also means I can no longer order art. I hope to find other payment methods, but until then, it may mean I can not commission certain artists anymore.
