Ah, I see you are going to be turning your life into a professional artist, complete with your own website and a Linked In Profile as well? Are you also directly applying to jobs that are hiring artists?
Everything you said is a good idea, getting your work out there and building a strong resume between your own website and the linkedin profile.
Now, are you looking specifically to be an artist, or are you also doing web design? Would you work on video games, web sites, or even video editing? Are you open to free lance work or also a full time corporate job?
Ah, your mention of warehouse work is quite terrifying. There were a few brief moments in my existence where I had to play around in those places. That takes me back... *shudder*
1) I'm too scared of rejections
2) there simply is NOTHING around here in my city and I refuse to travel each and every day outside my city if that happens
I'd much prefer home-office but ig I'm asking too much
At this point I don't even know what I wanna be/do I just wanna create, and be happy... for once in my DAMN life.
Yep, fucking Billa, fuck warehouse, I hate everything
I know that Bloober Team is a famous polish gaming company, how far is that from your hometown? Probably too far, I know. They just released Silent Hill 2 Remake and it was godlike, so they sound like a hot ticket to work for. I think CD Projekt is also in Poland, I know that's not your home country though.
Maybe you could get in as a background artist, or something. But I keep reading stories online that those companies are using AI more and more for those types of tasks that are typically handled by entry level people. That industry was already hard to break into, and now it's even harder when competing with the fucking AI lol.
