Going Dark on Comms

After these last few commissions come out, I’ll be going dark on commissions. Reason being is because I need to save up for an expensive surgery.
My dog has been hit by a car few years back that saw the loss of his left eye’s vision completely, and a year following my lack of care led to a cataract that was preventable causing complete blindness in his right eye.
He’s old, going on 15, and mother is hesitant for the surgery because she wants to know if it’s “in his best interest” to do so.
I’d like his last moments, if he is to depart soon, to at least be filled with those he can see for a final time.
I had this goal in the past but… my lack of conviction has led me to postponing this multiple times over because I would just spend on everything else and forget about it… I’m not really a good person.
I’m not looking for support or pats on the back, but I just figured that I’d be open about this. You know this much about me now, and you’re not getting anything else.
