Bad Fall

Dear Grimoire,
I hope that readers accustomed to wandering through the pages of the various universes are doing well despite the significant library change that has taken place in recent days. Thanks, by the way, to the mysterious forces that govern these complex mysteries.
This experience has taught me that even you, dear Grimoire, can show your own will and refuse any new ink stain on your immaculate pages. This is also the case for every grimoire available to readers and travelers. However, the idea of presenting these pages through other means is currently being considered. In the future, it is likely that the pages will be engraved on the wings of a blue butterfly in the sky.
But we are not there yet. This announcement will be made in due course. For the time being, other grimoires are already available for those who wish to access more exclusive pages (SubscribeStar and Patreon, both are for a mature audience).
Let's get back to the Manor, and more specifically to that dear ogre, Hageshiiomo, in search of the few samples I requested, far from Dr. Astrid Davis to avoid further accidents.

Hageshiiomo was hiding in a tree, observing the head of the zoo. Sent there by the shadowy owl-masked creature, he was supposed to find Maggie to ask for the day's samples and bring them back to the lab. A very simple mission in itself. Yet, the ogre had been hidden in the foliage for several minutes. Attentive, he leaned over to get a closer look until the branch he was leaning on broke!
-AAAH!! HOLY CRAP OF STUPID BRANCH!!
The ogre groaned, cursing at the sky, sprawled on the ground. He, who still had some bandages from his fight at V'rk Fyr'rnalhl, didn't appreciate this clumsiness at all. Drawn by the noise and the swearing, Marguerite ran over.
-Oh, by the Beast Lord, everything alright? Not too hurt?
Hageshiiomo opened his eyes and saw a horned angel above him.
-Now that you're here, it's... much better...
-Sorry?
Realizing his words were perhaps a bit flirtatious, he corrected himself.
-It feels much better when a colleague can help you after a bad fall, haha! he tried to catch himself.
-Oh, yes. Come on, I'll give you a hand up. By the way, aren't you the Master's handyman? she asked, taking him under the arm to pull him to his feet. The giantess lifted him effortlessly, and Hageshiiomo felt himself floating, and not because he was in the presence of this beauty.
-That's it. Hageshiiomo. And you…? he tried innocently.
-Marguerite, I take care of the menagerie. But you can call me Maggie.
-Oh… Okay, Maggie…
However, with this enforced hiatus, there is now a week's gap with the pages of the Apprentice grimoires. But the pages here will pick up where they left off.
C'est une bonne solution de recours. Certaines personnes l'utilisent pour les autres grimoires, d'autres pour tout un tas d'autres choses.
Merci pour cette piste de réflexion, Dr Thraup.
