Hello David, sorry for the late response from a week ago, I just noticed your comment today, but I am doing well after the events with the scammer, I had to change my bank card details as it might have been compromised and passed on to other scammers, I got a new bank card this week and I’m waiting for the pincode to be sorted out, by next week things will be sorted 👍

Ouch... That does hurt. I'm being cautious when I'm commissioning something. When it's someone I barely or don't know at all, I tend to ask for a sketch first before I pay anything.

Yeah, it’s a cruel deceitful world out there, and that’s the case with commissioning artists too, especially those artists you don’t know or trust that often, if they charge a lot for just one artwork or sketch then don’t pay them if you can’t afford it 👍

I've been scammed a few times already. Fortunately, I didn't lose much but my trust toward others can hurt however. Well, scammer aren't the only problems...

Once, I was even drawing a few sprites for someone who asked me. And when I showed theses, he instantly threatened me to report me. Since he wasn't satisfied, I remove my work from him from my gallery and I blocked him. But he had the audacity to upload what I drew for him in his own gallery... Well, if I recall correctly, he had been banned so... Good riddance!

Yes, this is clearly exploitation and copyright abuse, I’m glad you got him reported and banned for copyright violation, I have met others like him who did the same thing, but don’t let these people copyright your work for their own benefit and profit

Yeah, I almost got scammed on discord too, but the tactic with detecting these scammers is that they always say “are you busy” if they ask you that block and don’t respond to them immediately, they’re not worth your time and especially money 👍
