Why is it that the furry community is expected/obligated to care about the characters of popufurs but I just never get any traction on my own creation?
I'm not going to name names but we all know who those popufurs are, and there are a fair amount.
Why is the furry community this way?
There is such a high barrier of entry. Popufurs are just these kings and queens we crown and then grovel at their feet for no fucking reason. It's as if they were cult leaders.
This elite group of people expect/demand the communities attention and people fall over themselves to grant this attention?

No one cares or give a damn about one ideas or even if you need something.
But one of them say something or need something and the entire fucking community jump there for doing fucking nothing.
That's exactly one of the reasons why I'm not to happy with this community.
The characters I've spent 20+ years developing? Well it would be nice to know people enjoy them and care about them as much as I do.
It's envy, when you boil it down. Envy I'm sure. It's just frustrating to work and work on something's lore and spending my money on it and someone just pops up with a new shark gal and everyone throws themselves at yet another shark
Still. It's childish envy on my part.
