This happened to me before once! Do you by chance use Opera GX? I was using that browser at the time, and in the settings, there was an option under the section "RGX"that was called Enhance Images, which when turned on was causing the buttons to disappear for me. Once it was turned off, it was fixed. But I'm unsure if this is your problem since I don't know if you use that browser? If not, maybe check your browser settings and see if there is any settings that are similar to that that may be causing the issue? I hope you can figure it out!

The thing is, I have this issue too and that was never turned on. None of my RGX options are on, but it's still like this.
