I’ve officially given up on working on my comic for now. Been procrastinating on it for quite awhile now. And only recently have I realized that I’m procrastinating, not because I’m lazy, but because I believed that I’m not up for the task. And I’m not wrong. I lack both the skill to draw, and a good story to tell.
I have-what I believe-some pretty interesting ideas and themes, however I lack the understanding of the theme to extract anything profound from it. Everything I write down is just a bunch of unfinished pitches not fitting together to make a coherently themed story. All I did the last two months was character building and world building, with no real purpose other than to just look kinda interesting
Not to mention I’m not a good artist either. Not in the way I want the comic to be
I’m not enough
So I’ll get back to this when I believe I am enough
So… do you guys wanna make me draw stuff like before?

Aww I think the stuff you draw is cool AF, hopefully you can get to a point where you're happy to give it another attempt as you seem to really wanna have a go at it!

Remember that the guy who actually made one punch man/mob psycho pretty much just doodles everything and still got the interest of One (Who redraws the OPM) and other people to do the shows.

I don't think that's true, I think your art is really unique and cool! But I think comics are just really hard, I've had friends that had to stop making theres too. I think you just need to take some time away from it and maybe when you come back with "fresh eyes" you'll be able to work on it more!! I know I'd love to see it ^^ Either way always take care of yourself <3

If you really examine how a lot of manga are, they're a bunch of random elements a touch of narrative glue to add them together. Draw what you want to draw, then think of some half-assed excuse to put them in the same room together. Your fans will happily fill out the details for you.
