Finally bit the bullet and changed the layout to the beta, mostly to get access to the dang blacklisting add-on for "I reeeally don't want to see this." (Though good lord does there need to be a community driven tagging effort so things actually are findable / not dodging said blacklists.)

I'd love to know why it's off-centered to the left, centered was easier to read. I'm curious as to why the heck the banner is so dang big vs what it was. I can't say I understand a lot of the design decisions made but eh, I've been around since day 2006 so may just be set in my ways.

What do you folks think about it? I'm tempted to prod at noscripts and turn off the obnoxious elements. Actually, I'm just going to do that anyway.
