The government cannot cancel pride, because it was never about money, it was always about the pride to be oneself, it was about the pride to be human, to be free, to cast off the shackles of society's expectations and be true. It was about trans women throwing bricks at cops, it was about queers openly kissing in a park, it was about fighting the very government itself, and we will do it again if we need to. Trans rights, queer rights, are human rights.
