Is music dead

I've been doing mostly 80s and City Pop this year, so not surprised that my music age is pushing 60.

80s songs were fun and rather upbeat. The videos for them, some were weird and most were fun. Love classic rock too. Never bothered with music streaming services. Used to buy hard copy, now I purchase modern stuff off of Bandcamp and a mix of modern and classic rock and 80s from Amazon. My old phone had a lot of music on it. Current one - didn't accept the chip from the old one. 10 minute commute to work, I just put on the radio during the drive. The downloaded music was fantastic during 90 minute or more commutes thru some remote areas of Arizona that had lousy radio and even cell reception.
