The people on e621 are weird. They'll upvote some of the most mediocre content imaginable as long as it's NSFW, but as soon as something different is posted, it either gets ignored or downvoted. There's a very obvious bias against SFW content over there.

Yeah, it really feels that way sometimes… like if it’s not spicy enough, it just gets buried. I kinda hoped being a bit silly and keeping it in character would be enough to bring a smile, but I guess it’s not what some folks are looking for over there.
