Of Digimons and Movies

Digimon! Digital Monsters!
We know 'em. We love 'em. We were all kids in the 90s and early 2000s watching it. And I know I wasn't the only one excited to know a Digimon movie was coming out. 'Course what we didn't know going to watch it was that this 'movie' was three different movies spliced together. And back in 1999, I rented a VHS of that first lil' 30 minute Digimon movie. For those who don't know, that served as a little backdoor pilot at a film festival, coming out the day before 'Digimon Adventure' started airing in Japan.
Still, regardless of the hokey English dub and kinda crazily edited pace, I still enjoy the movie. And I stand by in saying the 2nd part, 'Our War Game', is the best part of the movie. While I have grievances about the 3rd part, 'Hurricane Touchdown' (God, why that title? XD)... I know I'm gonna catch flack for this, and I said this in another journal years and years ago, but I actually commend the English version for their edits of 'Hurricane Touchdown'
This was like, 10 years or so ago, I was able to catch the original version of 'Hurricane Touchdown', and boy, the original makes even less sense than English version. I mean I do get it with the original kids getting taken, turned back into kids, but the way it was resolved at the end. Yeah, you could've taken out that whole plot, and it really wouldn't change a thing. 'Hurricane Touchdown' is slow, but not without merit. Again, I saw this a decade ago, so my opinions may change.
Yeah, reason why I'm ramblin' on about this, cuz I JUST NOW leanred of 'Digimon: The Movies', being a redub with returning English casts. They say that this 'fixes' the problems that 'Hurricane Touchdown' had with the English version. Still won't change the fact that Seraphimon and Magnadramon were only in the damn movie for less than 10 seconds!
Not sure if I'll get this. I do have a BluRay, but eh. As Kilokahn once said; 'Someday when I have a spare nanosecond perhaps. Someday.' Afterall, I've had the DVD for 'Red Ranger Isekai for over 2 weeks, and I STILL haven't gotten 'round to watching it yet! XD
But yeah, lemme know if you got this. ^^
Thanks for your time. ^^

I remember hearing something interesting with the Greymon in the first portion with the redubbing.
The original English VA died, and they had his son reprise his father's role.
