...the idea that human history is a class struggle between the oppressor class and the oppressed class, a struggle that will only end when the oppressed have eliminated the oppressors and the government that backs them up in order to wrest complete control of the economy away from them and thus reclaim the freedom that is rightfully theirs. But won't there be some kind of power vacuum that might end up being occupied by an even crueler and more authoritarian government than the one that was just overthrown? Don't worry, the people who just violently overthrew it are actually peaceful little doves that wouldn't hurt a fly and know they're supposed to be nice to everyone, so they would never think of doing something like that.

Wait a second. I have the funny feeling that someone came up with this idea before. A lot earlier than whenever libertarians came up with libertarianism. It's probably because someone actually did. It was called "Marxism", and it always went awry at the part where the revolutionaries were supposed to not become an even worse tyranny than the one they had just toppled. I know from experience.

And I'm supposed to believe that switching the classes around so that the oppressors are the workers/poor and the oppressed are the bosses/rich is supposed to make it work correctly for real this time trust me bro? Fat chance.
