I recently found out that at the end of July when our lease ends, the owners of the apartment complex my partner and I live in will be increasing our rent by $100 as well as making us pay $300 each for a "reconditioning fee" and $150 each for a lease renewal fee. Needless to say, we will no longer be able to afford to live here. The only problem though is that we haven't had any luck finding anywhere else so our only current option is to stay in a shed in my partner's grandmother's backyard. Sadly, that is only a temporary solution as it is not suitable to be lived in as it is not insulated and there are many holes in the roof and walls. As you can see, we are in a desperate position, so anything helps. I would also appreciate anyone spreading it around, whether it be sending it in discord servers you're in or reposting it on twitter or bluesky
