Up to you i'll say :3 You can always wait for a while when you feel like you're ready to open up. It doesn't mean you have to open up right away. Can take some baby steps to lean in to feel ready if not, next year might be the charm.

But If you're feeling like you can do it, Just start small on the process. Do 3-slots only and play it by ear.

you can always try it once and see if it's your thing. i think avoiding scammers as the artist is a bit easier since you're the one receiving payment, but very much understand the concern.

its definitely scary at first! id suggest that your first commissions be limited to friends and ppl you already trust so you can get used to the process without the risk of being scammed
