The movie, Jaws is 50 years old, based on the same name of the same name written by Peter Benchley that is 51 years old. Jaws is more New England based than some people think because the movie is filmed almost entirely in Martha's Vineyard in Dukes County, Massachusetts and the brand of beer, Narragansett (often called "Gansett") in the movie is based in my own state, Rhode Island. Rhode Island pretty much celebrated the 50th anniversary of Jaws more than any other states with The Rhode Island Lottery (also known as "The Lot") launched Jaws lottery scratch cards and the Providence-based Narragansett Brewery promoting the 50th anniversary of Jaws because that brand was in the movie. However, the Jaws lottery scratch cards can be found in other states, especially outside of New England and the Northeastern region of the USA like Florida and Texas.
