I follow a ton for various kinds of artwork/content!

I prefer following artists on galleries like FA to see the art they post, but they can be a nice supplement for people that want notifications for things like streams or commission openings.

Always been too afraid to use them, same with discord ones.

I predominantly use TG for group chats and to message a few specific people, and joining artist telegram channels essentially gums up my ability to do either of those things, so no, I don't follow them. The only exception is the fursuit maker who made my head/tail/hooves, and they don't post often. I prefer gallery websites like FA to follow artists, personally.

I will echo what Simon Tesla said though, which is they're good for notifications for streams or commissions, but I also mute all chats that aren't between me and one other person. So again, wouldn't be good for me but potentially useful for others 😅
