!Major Posting Update!

Hey
I'm tired.
I've been putting a lot of effort into every one of my posts for a long time, and I'm tired.
I've watched twitter go from 'bad' to 'totally unusable'
It's getting harder and harder for me to post every weekend. I keep ending up overthinking things and then just doing nothing.
If I've gotten something from you and never posted it, that's probably why. Couldn't come up with a story good enough.
The constant specter that something I've worked so hard on is gonna get posted, get like 200 views and 10 favs, and then nobody will ever acknowledge that it happened is slowly killing me.
It's getting harder and harder to scream into the void.
I'm -slowly- trying to start up on Bluesky, but it's slave to the same broken algorithms as all the others.
If you, at all, have literally any opinions on my content. Post them. In the comments. Next time you see them pop up.
If there's a pic you know I -have- that you want to see posted, DM me.
I'm not -quitting- the site, but clearly things can't keep going how they have been.

I actually am open to releasing some of the paywalled stuff there to the public, but there has to be some display of interest.
I have worked very hard to make my content self contained, complete, and enjoyable. I have focused on making my content -good- instead of just generating attention. But the internet has made it clear that it does not intend to ever award that again. It only wants clickbait, AI, and what's optimized for stupid people.
FA has -usually- been a more involved site than most, not really a social media, which in this case means SOMEBODY might actually see this. So I'm telling you.
Engage.
And if anybody has any serious advice about how to actually make this work [other than 'don't dramapost', sadly I know that one]... feel free.

In terms of advice, I guess the only thing I'd say - if you haven't thought of it already or simply already know - is to simply post and write just for you yourself loving it. Doing it for engagement will simply cause you to stress yourself, since sure the numbers going up looks great and all but it's not going to be all the time and when they go down it'll quickly cause you to go down too. If you end up getting tired then hey, simply take a break and not post for a while - don't let it get you down either, since I'm sure the people who follow you and genuinely enjoy the art you get and the stories you write will always be there for when you do and see it being worth it.
I'll try to comment more in the future and be more free with my favourites.
