A Day of Mourning
Today is a dark day indeed, because last night a cherished member of my family passed away.
No, not an actual relative or even my dog. My Dell all-in-one PC, which I first bought in 2017, has finally, tragically, shuffled off this mortal coil 😭. The end came swiftly (I was literally plugging in my mouse and the thing just cut off out of the blue and wouldn't turn back on lol), so at least it didn't suffer 😔.
I've had that computer for almost as long as I've been writing fight kink fiction. Had it survived 2025, it would've been 9 years old. My aunt has had a few dogs that didn't live that long. It helped me craft many a silly, raunchy story; plus I have other great memories with it, like when me and girlfriend (now my ex) used to get stoned and stay up all night watching She-ra on Netflix. Good times.
So farewell to my poor, precious PC, and thank you for years of dutiful service 🫡. From the bottom of my sick, perverted heart, you will be dearly missed. Good night sweet prince, I pray you've been uploaded to that big Cloud Storage Space in the sky 🥹😇🕊️.
(P.S. I've known this day was coming for a while now, so don't worry, I already got a new laptop. However, I did lose my digital copy of Microsoft Word (you can only add it to one device), which was the best proofreading tool I've ever found. It'll cost $140 to replace, so if you can, please subscribe or donate a few bucks using the links below. Every penny helps ^^

LibreOffice is good free alternative for Microsoft Word, I recommend to test it if you haven't tested it yet.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I don't actually need a new word processor. I never wrote anything in Word, I just used its TTS feature for proofreading. I've used lots of other TTS's (they're not hard to find), but Word's is the best I've ever tried.

I truly know how you feel, man. I really do. 2 years ago, my laptop crashed because, in my infinite wisdom, I got a used mouse from material for the arts and the moment I connected it, the crash happened. I had been collecting a lot of files on it for ages. Granted I thought those files were lost forever, until I discovered some of them on my brother's google drive. Now I have some of them back, but now I still need to get the rest. Honestly, I think I should get the computer fixed because it would cost a lot to do a data recovery, but I want to ask your opinion.
