In all honesty, I just don't have the money to afford art pieces over $200. Unless I save up over a period of a few months.

Id personally love to grab a piece from you, however, Im not able to afford art over 100-150$, and could only afford one per month at that price even. I love your stuff and you create some of the best art out to me at least. I wish I could get a comm or YCH from you someday, just money has been super tight for a long while now.

I got you Solar! I absolutely love your art style and quality. The themes are lovely, and I'd honestly buy all of them! But the pricing is where I fall short. As much as I love all of these, I don't have the funds to purchase some of them. Take this however you'd like, I think as an artist it's important to justify your prices. I think you are making a living off of this and that's why your prices are higher. You have to make sure to get enough to put food on the table and pay bills.

I 100% am going to get that summer YCH though but am curious if the price might go down first.

Personally, I was a couple days behind in my catching up on FA so I hadn't seen that commission offer yet before you had posted this journal. Also, I've been spending money like water lately so my budget has been tight. Also, neither I nor my character are into harnesses or bondage gear so it's not the type of commission I would get. It's certainly not a matter of quality because you have some fantastic, beautiful artwork that is excellent quality. And no, you don't come across as being cold. I can understand the frustration of artwork being how you make your living but you get very few interested commissioners for your artwork and you're trying to figure out what to do to increase sales. It absolutely makes sense why you'd be asking around.

Hang in there. The economy is screwing everybody over with higher costs eating into their budgets. It's not a matter of your artistic talents.

Your artwork is great, but I have little inclination to buy artwork from any artist. My OCs and worlds are a personal matter, and I prefer to remain their sole creator. I prefer low-fi, tribal, slice-of-life, gardening, etc., and your recent YCH is far outside of that, but I'm not a customer so my opinion is moot.

I do sometimes buy furry products graphic novels, kickstarters, keychains, etc. and I have several Christmas gifts for family members have been sitting on my bookshelf for a few months now. I'm a sucker for collecting first print, first edition graphic novels from furry artists.
