wrist pooped itself

EDIT october 14th: back in business baby! feeling a lot better as of late, i plan on making a mass update journal this week regarding some stuff!
I severely overestimate my body and been pushing the pain I’ve been getting in my dominant hand aside for the last 6 months. but it has gotten far too bad I’ve been forced to stay away from any strenuous activities.
I have informed a few commissioners already at random about my delays, but i have not been able to inform everyone yet, so this is my mass update post since it has not gotten better in the time I had hoped yet.
I have high suspicion I have carpal tunnel starting in my right, dominant hand. I have had hand stiffening, and extreme muscle fatigue/pain shooting from the middle of my palm, to my forearm on and off for the last 6 months. But I have ignored it since it seemed to have gone away almost immediately. A couple nights ago I made a decision I would grow to regret and worked for 8 hours, straight, nonstop, no breaks, hand in same position the whole time. I woke up the next morning with the worst pain I have had in my wrist yet, and it has yet to go away even though I’ve been wearing a wrist brace on my hand at all times except when I’m sleeping.
I don’t know what the future holds, but I will be taking to my primary care doctor about seeing an orthopedic specialist during my next appointment later this month, for the time being I will be taking just a couple more days of rest. I am looking at it very optimistically because I haven’t been stressing myself out as much as I was ..but I won’t lie when I say I’m worried. I never thought it would even get to this point if I’m completely honest. I don’t want it to get any worse..art is my life and has been since I was a kid…and I’ve been enjoying it so much more again lately..I don’t know what I would do if my drawing abilities were greatly reduced or diminished completely. Blegh. I hate it.
If all goes well I will be returning by the weekend to finish up the rest of what I started before this started happening 🫶 If anyone has any tips on what ti do it would be greatly appreciated. I am so lost on what to do for relief besides my brace. I’ve been trying to gently massage the area but it doesn’t help one bit. I can still feel the pain even through my brace aswell, almost like it’s not compressing enough? It’s strange. I was thinking the brace I have isn’t sufficient enough.
Hope to talk to y’all soon <3

Keep on doing gentle movement and stretching, You can also take an something for the inflammation like Ibuprofen and treat the area with cold for pain and inflammation, and heat to loosen tendons and muscles. Its important to keep it moving while you recover so it doesn't lock up.
Here is a short guide I found for movement therapy https://youtu.be/d9t_fbCzsEM?si=r581cdZoDVY6kLUW
