Happened here in Portland Oregon, too. Only Jewish shul represented in Portland Pride was a Free Palestine aligned one, and their were anti-semitic, pro-Hamas, and pro Palestine imagery and symbols everywhere.

Not only Portland, but Australia, France, and many other countries, Anti-Semitism is everywhere, even on the internet with the spread of racist images. I don’t know what to say, but may God protect us.

Admittedly yes, groups like the KKK, American Nazis, Aryan Brotherhood are out there, among a few others The SHTF types. BUT the massive difference is their numbers are tiny compared to those groups protesting in the streets and campuses screaming holy hell and Anti Semitic slurs across the nation. Plus guess who gets the media coverage over their "Peaceful Protests"? You RARELY see or hear those KKK bastards throwing their bullshit in large numbers . Especially in the several hundreds or thousands the far left is pulling. Plus you at most seeing the far right types putting up posters, and tagging , unlike the far left physically who are doing far more vandalism and property damage . Haven't seen the KKK or Aryan Nation torching cop cars or looting businesses either. Yeah, they are horrendous assholes without argument. But you also aren't seeing them shooting Jewish people and yelling "Free, Free Palestine!" either. Yes, they hate the Jews too, but not on the scale the far left is pulling lately.

That's why I gave up on the Left. I gave up on socialism. I gave up on populism. I don't give my loyalty to political parties or to ideologies. Once we do that, it turns into fanaticism and performative justice.

People aren't looking for solutions. They're looking for belonging. They're looking for identity. They want to be PART of something. And they want everything to be easy, simple, black-&-white... And they don't care who they hurt as long as they can tell themselves "I'm on the CORRECT side!" And they judge "correctness" of belief on loyalty to their chosen identity group. With all the power of circular logic.
