Kinktober already? But it's only August! Things became a bit too stressful and overwhelming last year, so I'm changing things up and preparing well in advance. I'm still going to post a kinky short story every day in October (each around 600-1,200 words) based on the prompt list below. Each story will have a focus on BDSM elements. Additionally, some of these stories can include your characters (for free)! Unlike the last two years, I am going to reserve half of the days for myself so I can focus more on stories I know I want to write and stress less over what commissioners want. While I have made it first-come-first-serve in the past, I am going to do it raffle-style this time to try and make it more fair with the shortened prompt list. Raffle Rules:
- 1: Please understand that I am a gay BDSM writer, and I will only write M/M bondage-centric stories.
- 1a: Female presenting characters may make an appearance, but must be side characters. No female breasts or genitalia will be written about!
- 1b: Trans and NB characters are acceptable so long as they have a penis or genitalia isn't mentioned.
- 2: Because I had issues last year with people not understanding the type of content I write, please ensure you've read at least three of my past Kinktober stories before applying. At least one of them must be a non-commission story (check my journals for a quick list).
- 3: To apply, either comment below or send me a message here on FA, listing your top 3 most wanted prompts (in order).To claim a remaining slot please visit the new journal here!
- 3a: None of the "color" days are claimable.
- 4: If more than 15 people show interest, I will raffle off who gets priority purely at random.
- 4a: Exceptions may be made to ensure all prompts are claimed if applicable.
- 5: I will enter everyone's desired prompts into a spreadsheet to figure out who will receive each prompt.
- 6: I will message everyone on September 1st with their prompt or an apology if you did not win the raffle. From there, we can discuss the details of your story.
- 7: If a prompt remains unclaimed after September 1st, you may request that slot. The later you wait, the less likely it will be that I haven't written something for it already.
