"Holy crap a whole year"
That's right fluffbuts, I've been shoving by foxy muzzle around these parts for one whole year! I'm so glad to have met so many friendly and kind furs in this fandom--and that's on just the one platform!--and I can't wait to see what the next year will have in store--meeting new furs and getting to know the ones I've already met a whole lot better. Here's to a year and many more in the future!
And to celebrate, I'm having a raffle!

Ever wondered what you look like as a knight in shing armor, or tight-lipped medieval merchant? Well wonder no more! With this raffle you'll be able to pick a character out of a motley list of medieval ne'er-do-wells to represent you on a pilgrimage to Canterbury displayed as (admins willing) our illustrious banner! (Thirty-two characters? all on horses?! I must be crazy!)
But wait, what do I need to do to enter?
Just leave a comment telling me who you want to be and a link to your fursona/OC's ref! That's it--no watch or commitment required* (though it would be nice). If you want to help out because you're just such a nice fur, consider telling a friend or making your own journal, every little bit helps!

So, I don't presently have a "proper" ref-sheet, but I do have several pieces depicting my guy that would hopefully suffice, if you'll accept that situation. I can also give a quick rundown on the essentials besides, if that's okay.
And if not, that's okay, just pass me over. :)
* ~5ft, 8in height
* "solid"/"stocky" build
* "medium" grey fur for most of the body, "light" grey for the front-most areas of the body, what would be the "underside" of a quadruped
* "short" hair, basically in line with the rest of the body, with a chin-tuft
* "sea-green" eyes
* typically wears glasses, either of "modern" style or of the "medieval" style with a sturdy strap to secure them, thus looking somewhat like goggles.
* wears a steel chain-necklace/pendant with a Celtic Cross
* favored colors: deep/dark blue and black
* generally prefers being shown with plantigrade feet, but I won't make a big fuss over that, especially for this.

As for the character/role, I'm open to being quite a few of them. In no particular order...
I'd be down for being either the knight, the squire, or their yeoman.
I like the Parson's character quite well, as well as his brother the Plowman.
I also find the Merchant and the Cleric of Oxford appealing.
Lol, I guess those would be the ones I find most interesting, but to be honest, I'd be up for pretty much any of them. So, if you find yourself having made your way through the list, and are at a loss for one character in particular, know that I wouldn't really have a problem with being the one to fill that gap. XD
I've rambled enough on this for now. Thanks for offering this, whoever you end up picking for your lineup!

Id like to submit my hellhound if you wouldn't mind! Can change size and green gashes act like vents for his internal green flame to jet out of at will.
I was wondering if he could be a priest or a parson? The idea of a soul retriever running around with his own following to rival others sounds kind of fun, especially when his belief system would be nothing but fun stuff, fluff butts, and huggles to share XD

I feel like he may have a sufficient amount of melodramatic moodiness to fit as one of those. extremely excited to see the final work of this someday, i love medieval fur scenes and ur style that i can see so far makes me think its gonna be very redwall-esque when it's done. 🛐🛐🛐
