Here you will be able to see all of our previous site banners over the years as well as links to the artists that created them. Be sure to give it a look when you have a moment!
In other news, our Tech Team has added in some new things that need sharing! A big one being that we have taken a leap on over to Turnstile! No more having to second guess yourself if a pixel is a bike or school bus! We hope this will take the pain out of logging in for most users, we know it’s been a thorn for a while now. Rejoice!

- This page will show all banners Fur Affinity has used since its inception, as well as the artists who worked on them.
⚙️Recaptcha v2 has been replaced with Turnstile
- We mentioned back in April that we'd be moving towards decoupling ourselves from Recaptcha for a more robust captcha system.
- Also, if you're using an extension like NoScript, make sure to whitelist Cloudflare!
⚙️Image submission now uses Viewer.js to allow for a better viewing experience.
⚙️User symbols (infinity, suspended, etc) have been increased in size to make them easier to see.

Rednef does not have an official reference on-site anylonger; so feel free to use these images for your Rednef needs.

It looks like there's a display issue with it on Modern Light; I'll submit a ticket about it right away
Wait... is it the click for description popup in the gallery page...?Even so, that's a cozy little banner made better with a cute little 'Neer plush.
Currently it shows the modern section above the legacy one, and each section is ordered oldest-to-newest. So if one browses through it, it goes 2022-2025, then 2006-2015.
If it were ordered newest-to-oldest, then browsing it would show 2025-2022, then 2015-2006.
Is there a way to pick one to keep around for a while?
Making an inflammatory comment about annoying you and making dumb decisions isn't necessary.
(I had it hanging in Firefox for Android on my phone a couple of times until I force-updated it, but I'm not going to complain.)

The Turnstiles is a huge pain and a annoying aspect when you log in to your account, that's when the annoying part begins. Thank you and for your team for doing something like this to get rid of it. Other sites still continues to have Turnstile like DeviantArt, Google, Twitter and others.

well if not better. I'm so glad you didn't do Hcaptcha, that thing sucks in every possible way and is basically a "no blind people allowed" sign whereever it crops up.

Viewer.js seems to work pretty well on mobile; I accidentally activate the double-tap sometimes when trying to pan around while zoomed in, but that's probably just a matter of getting used to the interface.
Admin/tech teams are doing a great job adding quality-of-life features to the site while preserving its unique character. Keep up the awesome work!

This is simply them giving yet another reminder that you are using a site view that is being discontinued. You can call that "pushing" if you want, but MOST websites don't even give you the option at all - when most websites update the look of the site, they just do it, and you don't really get a say at all.
They've been saying for probably 5-6 years that classic view is retired. I wouldn't be surprised if they got rid of it altogether very soon (in fact, I'd be very surprised if they DIDN'T). Classic mode is deprecated, full stop. Them giving you an error explaining that (yet again, despite them saying it every time new features are released) is frankly a courtesy.
I'm also happy to see that in Modern you moved the keywords back under the image, as they weren't showing up, whether or not I forced full site.
I still have issues with Modern not showing the mini gallery, even with it selected, as well as no journal list for people with many journals. I have an open ticket on this under Feedback (I think), but I just wanted to mention it again before you pull the plug on Classic, and users are left without some basic functionality.
Is this a new limitation on how many browsers we can be logged into at a time now? This is a recent issue. I'm not logged into as many devices as I used to but the issue is persistent.
All browsers are up to date. But I'm only logged out on my iPad specifically. It used to happen when I would log into another device, log on with my iPad and my other iOS device would log out. Never had this issue before.
As for the logout issue, we haven't changed anything in regards to login retention. If you're experiencing this issue on a single device, check to see if it's clearing your cookies as that might be the problem.

It is extremely sensitive yeah, I was about to submit a ticket that I couldn't close at all on mobile but found this comment here. I have to give the lightest possible touch and it takes me about 4-5 times on average on my dinky S20FE (1080 x 2400 apparently), even more with my thumb. Glad to learn I can close them at least and don't have to press back.
If there's any way to make adjustments whatever they end up being (dedicated button, maybe press and hold outside the image? Double tap? Threshold before dragging actually starts dragging?) would be cool! I won't pretend to know what options are available, but thanks for looking into it!

Advertising Assistant here. :) While we know folks have been saying it would be a neat idea, and we agree, we cannot implement this for a number of reasons. The sheer volume of ads at the larger file sizes would make the library a strain on our resources, and from a security standpoint, a potential attack vector on the site.
Plus the banner slots are saved over constantly whenever an artist sends us a new banner, so the data is turned over at a much higher volume. The site banners are part of the site's history and have been archived over the years. Our lovely user ads... well, unless the original artist has saved them, due to the sheer volume we handle, they simply are not kept that long.
I download every ad to my computer in order to upload them, and my downloads folder gets out of hand very quickly. ^^;
Move on from the captcha.
FA got doxxed YEARS ago and you're still using such an outdated security measure.
The picture captchas are incredibly frustrating and time consuming and i don't want to fill them out each time i log in or try to submit anything

As long as you are logged into FA, you as a user will not see video ads; because once logged in you are no longer viewed as an unregistered guest!
But yes, if you can let me know where it sent you to and/or what the video looked like before it sent you, I can have it removed immediately.
And also damm, so many I haven't seen since I've only been here since 2021 basically
I even want to give them the buffet again.
I get the classic theme isn't being updated anymore but it is a real shame. I hope someone makes a plugin that will make some of the newer features work in classic.
