(Hmm interesting)

It's unfortunate, but I can understand where you're coming from. On my end, even if those people aren't my friends anymore, I still keep it in my collection as a reminder of what I went through in the past (which is why I hate to delete stuff from the past). I can't say the same with other people, but if someone were to go find those images now, it's going to be "lost media" at this point.

Even my personal favorite "Snowball Fight" that Avainine/Wolferion did is completely gone and lost to time. And only a thumbnail of the image on Google/Bing images is all that remains of the old artwork. Oh well, it's sad to see old artwork go, but I understand why you wish to delete it and leave it behind. Personally, I would have downloaded that stuff and then take it down.

I still have my old AC 2015 photos, but they're put away in my external hard drive for now. I did back them up a few years ago when I upgraded from a 30 GB thumb drive. I just needed to cut ties with most folks I tagged after I just checked on every one of them as they're all "woke" (maybe to begin with). Some of my traditional drawings from that same era had to go because that was before I got my printer a few years ago and my traditional art skills of coloring and shading weren't as great as they are now. Even a few digital ones had to go.

I see. But still, and I get that they're "Woke" and "Politically Troubling", but it's still worth archiving on your end. But I get where your coming from.

To be honest, some of my old drawings I've had prior to deviantART I never try to throw them away, which is why I still kept them. But again, it's up to you really.

It'll probably take time for you to clean up, sort your folders, and make it look good by the time this is all done. (It's good I didn't make many friends on my end, as it sure would have been problematic o my end, but I would have at least kept them on my page for historical purposes, but I digress).

I just got done with the cleaning now. I already have everything backed up. I like preserving my own history, but some things aren’t interesting anymore.

Ahhh okay...And also, Good, as long as someone backs it up, including you, that's all I care about. At least you know to preserve history thankfully, and not let it be deleted or closed down (like many other deviantART people who just take down artwork/literature, or close their accounts without warning). But I getcha...At least it's over with, so you can focus on the present and the future.
