My mom woke me up at 9:30 am, and told me my dad found one of his guns and took the car. He was gone before she was awake. He left the gun box on the coffee table. I think it's his 45. We didn't know where he went. I told her we needed to call the police, and she wouldn't do it! She's always hate calling the police! Ever since I was a kid, she wouldn't call them for stuff! She's got too much of a chip on her shoulder. And she whined he'd be in more trouble for driving without a license. I told her that I'd give him until noon to return. And if didn't, I'd call police. Well he came back. He apparently went out to get coffee. Or possibly buy booze that he hid from us since we don't want him to drink. He gave us the scare of a lifetime. I haven't gone to talk to him yet. I'm not ready to. But my heart feels like it's gonna explode. I need to take a chill pill. Literally!
