My water heater is dying!
a week ago
I was just taking out my cat litter boxes, and I noticed a pool of water the water heater rests in. And the bottom of the water heater is rusted out. I'm mad. But the water heater is 15 years old, and only got it's elements and thermostats replaced once. And we have well water, which makes things rust faster than city water because it's not pumped full of chemicals. I had hoped to get a few more years out of the water heater, but it's dead Jim. Or dying anyway. But it's starting to rot the floor, and I found black mold behind it. I sprayed the mold with disinfectant. But I can't truly clean it out till the old water heater gets yanked. And sadly, to buy the new water heater, I'm gonna need to use the money I was saving for a new laptop. God damnit....
On top of all that, the recent wind storm caused a new small leak in my roof. Thankfully not in the living space. But that's just another thing I need to fix.
And lastly, I think one of my cats is dying. He's slowing down and can't move very well. He's also got wet bowel movements. He's badly bred from the old cats we used to have just humping each other without a care for relation. He had an orange brother that died two years ago from bad health, And I honestly thought the remaining brother would only make it another year. But he's made it two. But now he's limp and droopy, and hardly wants to move. I'm not sure if I should wait to see if he gets any better or not. Either way, I don't think he has much longer.....

I don't need anything special for a laptop. But I want a gaming one because they're better built. No touch screen, easier to repair, can be customized, and built more solid. And they're the same price. I'm also gonna need one with Windows 11 as support for 10 is ending. I can't stand tablets for internet. I'd rather have the laptop. And I've gotten a used laptop on Ebay before. It came with a bootleg copy of Windows on it. That sucked. I just need a new machine. But clearly not this year. I do like to game on my laptop sometimes. Usually just an N64 emulator though.
If I had some sort of hideaway to put a camper trailer to be left alone, I would. But I don't. But I'm left alone most of the time anyway. Though if anything happens to my house, I'll just use the insurance money to buy a bigger camper and out it here.
If I got rich, I'd by a modest house closer to the coast, and not let anyone know I'm rich. I'm better off staying in Oregon either way. I haven't had Denny's in a while. They're just never convenient for me when I'm around one.
