Great and talented artist, but uptight and entitled person

I'm disappointed that my favourite Valentino fan-artist has blocked me here.
I didn't even interact with them in the DMs. I just add their art to my favourites list because I think their art looks cool.
I looked at their DA account and their bio states, "DO NOT SPAM FAVE, any more than 3-5 at once is getting you blocked, it's annoying as fuck and completely unnecessary.".
I wasn't even aware that they put up a rule like that and I don't understand why artists like them are like that. I mean, you're putting out your art for everyone to see and if they look good, you're going to get a lot of faves from people.
Because they blocked me, I unfaved a lot of their art. My perception towards them has changed. They're not my favourite artist anymore. I blocked them in response to them blocking me.
I don't want an artist who is so uptight when it comes to the number of faves that they receive from people who genuinely like their fan-art.

And for that e canceled my commission, refunded me, black listed me, etc. Said because I sent money to him without giving him the chance to send an invoice from PayPal I violated both his rules and PayPal rules.
So I went and checked with several artists and they didn't even know anything about this PayPal rule and that they've always had commissioners send them money they asked for and never needed to do any invoice.
The artist didn't even have the rule wrote or anything and yet wanted to cut every single tie and burn every bridge that had me involved.
Then a friend of mine begged me to let me give permission to have a character we owned to be done by this artist. After huge amounts of debate I reluctantly agreed. When said commission was finished I at least wanted to comment how nice it looked to show no bad blood between me and the artist.
Said artist not only had me blocked but blocked on any and all forms of social media that I was in. So now there's a pic that has a character I co owned and I can't even fave or comment on it. Anywhere.
So yeah I truly hate it when artists have let their talent and fandom go so far into their heads they think their shit don't stink and they can treat their customers like absolute shit and don't have to worry about the consequences.
They forget without their fanbase, without their customers, they be nothing.
