I refuse to use the term "AI Art" anymore.

It's not art. It's an output done by an algorithm. "Art" implies creativity, which is completely absent from these images. And "AI" is such a buzzword that folks still think sounds cool while implying intelligence in the design. There's no intelligent design - It's rendering an image file from a program trained to make it look like someone else's art that had actual effort put into it, often without said artist's consent.
From now on, I'm calling any pictures made by a computer "Artificially-Generated Image Files", or AGIFs. Make it as inhuman, corporate, and robotic-sounding as possible. Shows the people who generate them exactly what I think of the pictures and of them themselves. Plus, trying to say the acronym out loud is an accurate representation of the noise I make when someone tries to pass off the image files as 'art'.
Likewise, the supposed 'artists' are "Prompters", not artists. They didn't create anything. They typed some keywords, and the computer did all the work to spit out a collection of pixels it's been trained to render based on actual (and frequently stolen) art. It's like someone operating a car-manufacturing robot in a factory and claiming they built the car themselves.
But I think that sounds more accurate. Prompters generating AGIFs.

This is just a bunch of techbro whackjobs taking the soul from art and ruining the planet in the process. That is all "A.I" is.
Don't expect it to catch on, but it's more accurate.
AI isn't even the right term. Should all be called LLMs. There's no intelligence involved.
