A more uplifting journal

After my irritated rant about antis and... that part of Gen Z, I wanted to leave something more positive in its wake.
I've taken notice of another issue facing a lot of that same age demographic (generally 19-25) and I want to address it. This time it's not me venting anything or being accusatory, this time it's genuine encouragement.
You, Gen Z, yes, you. It's okay to emote in public. It's okay to laugh. It's okay to be enthusiastic and have lively conversations with strangers. It's okay to take and give compliments. It's okay to be a nerd, it's okay to be "cringe".
You do not have to be so aloof and cool just to avoid being filmed by some douche. Let them laugh at you, fuck 'em. Be you. Kill that shame. Find you, be you. That's where happiness is. Happiness is not being cruel to others, happiness is not spending your time putting others down to elevate yourself, happiness is not avoiding being laughed at. Happiness is just (HARMLESSLY) being you, and putting that famous middle finger up to everybody who thinks you suck for it. Get laughed at, it's liberating.
Enjoy things. Just enjoy things. You can, and it's much easier than you think it is.

I honestly dunno and honestly don't care. it's a word i hear used by others to describe myself pretty well that I still do not understand, and frankly I don't really care. All that matter to me is that I have no shame and i sand by what I say. I respectfully and responsibly fear no one and nothing but myself lol *smirking shrug*
And don't let 'em tell you how to be you. You're better than that!
To quote a post I saw on Tumblr (IIRC) ages ago, "Do not shun the part of you that is cringe. Shun the part of you that cringes."
Been online for 22 years, did not take long for me to stop caring about what others think/feel about me.
