I think right now, healing mentally and emotionally is top priority since you've been through a lot. I think build up funds, regain a sense of normalcy. You can always retry for a new place when your in a better mental and emotional place

I just don't want it to take too long because while this was necessary, this living arrangement is less than ideal both for my mother and I.
