Long story short, my insurance is making me put off my hysterectomy until October 30th. I have a better feeling about it, though. My Dad bought me a back rest, shower chair, and toilet stool. I also have enough Gas X and body wipes. I recently got my methadone raised a little bit and the surgeon threw a small oxy script on top of that. I won't have to worry about pain.

I don't have an "official" care giver, but it's not a harsh surgery to recover from. At least to my understanding. Yes, I'm going to be exhausted for a while but I have several friends who agreed to come over and help keep my cat fed + entertained while I rest. I got more cleaning done recently.

I don't have a lot of groceries hoarded yet. Food suggestions would be appreciated. I'd love ideas what to prep that's easy to just grab or heat up real quick. I am still living as a bachelor these days.

I'll probably do laundry again within the next week or two. I'm still deciding where. I'd rather not pester my folks, but that's likely what I will end up doing. I'm trying to work on my relationship with them, but it is pretty odd to be around them at all after everything that's happened. (They let me be homeless on and off for years, tried to force me to de-transition, almost let the ward have custody over me, etc.)

I love my parents because they're my PARENTS but they hurt me a lot growing up. I don't want to make them look bad or anything, though. It is what it is. I am still truly shocked (and grateful) my Dad pitched in at all for surgery needs.
