Good, you've join me on the name iceberg. Now I'm here to roast your badly named OCs >:3c
Please do not...
1) ... Name your OC in such a way you yourself can't pronounce.
2) ... Name your Japanese OC Sally or Alexander.
3) ... Mix up Spanish/Portuguese surnames. In Spanish, Alejandro Luis Fernández Muñoz has his father's surname (Fernández) first, before his mother's surname. In Portuguese, Alexandre Luis Munhoz Fernandes has his father's name at the back of the full name, after his mother's.
4) ... address your own OC's double barrelled names by their first half only. Mary Jane is one name, and so is Jean-Pierre, Jean-Marie, Juan Pablo, Juan María, Giampiero, Karl-Heinz (or Karlheinz) or Hans-Jürgen, etc.
5) ... give ridiculously long compound surnames like: Sextus Denys Oswolf Fraudatifilius Tollemache-Tollemache de Orellana Plantagenet Tollemache-Tollemache (yes this is real, go search it up).
6) ... give your OC the name of Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz, you might just start WW3.
7) ... attempt to make an OC from Indonesia, Southern India, the Philippines or Thailand. Unless you're crazy like me, you'll find yourself reading a whole PhD paper trying to figure out how they work.
8) ... name a Chinese OC just "Lee" or "Li". Chinese (and Korean) names are comprised of a surname (almost always of a single character), and a given name made of 2 characters (sometimes 1). I'm sick and tired of seeing Chinese OCs created by non-Asian peeps named something like "Lu" with no Hanzi provided. Like which Lu is it? 陸, 盧, 魯, 祿, 鹿? If you want to be realistic, name them Lu Bo (where Lu is the surname). If Lu is the given name, then it could be Zhen Lu. Otherwise, like 80-90% of all Chinese names are something like "Bo Zhenlu".
9) ... confuse Hungarian and Japanese name orders. In the West they are written Given Name-Surname order, but natively, they are reversed: Surname-Given Name.
10) ... Forget your (East) Slavic patronymics. Instead of just Nikolai Popov, try Nikolai Sergeyovich Popov. The "middle name" is their father's name with the patronymic suffix "-ovich". A female will be Tatyana Sergeyevna Popova. Could go a long way with Russian artists you commission! (Also applies to Ukrainians and Belarusians).
11) ... make Icelandic surnames fixed. They are patronymics. Jóhannsdóttir means "daughter of Jóhann", and "Óskarsson" is "son of Óskar".
12) ... name your OC in a Tonal language. You're probably going to fail.
13) ... name your OC Skibidi or 6 7.
14) ... let these tips be the be all end all. You can ignore all tips above and just have goddamn fun with your own character. Sometimes a bit of strange inconsistent worldbuilding is necessary for some slapstick. Only down side is I will judge you... harshly... with TITS.

Slink's full name and title is:
Prince Ejderha Vivar, Royal protector of the Tome. But goes by the name Slink.
His brother however, is much more keen on his royal titles:
Aagondarha Vivar-Timon. Crown prince of house Vivar, Protector of the realms, Royal Scholar of the Knowledge.
Then theres Yöterri (Oo-terry) Petterson-Slink. Shes finnish and married Slink's adopted son Sprite, her mother is Sámi and is Named Hannele, a chosen name for her with her full name being Njealji biekka čáppa čuovga.
Its nice to see people research naming conventions. Finnish names are quite the can of worms because some Finns will have Swedish and German surnames, or in your case, some Sámi in them
Although I must admit, Ejderha and Aagondarha both translate to dragon (turkish and turkmen respectively)... their mother was lazy with her naming :p
The only one of Slink's siblings not to be called a turkic version of Dragon is Mehoni Yelēlebeti. Thats Amharic for The one who should not be.
The rest are words I think sound cool and not really based on irl names, mostly
