just deactivated my Bluesky Account (as that's possible, otherwise i'd just have deleted it immediately) as i'm sadly still struggling with using (scroll-based) social media platforms.
even though i tried my best to only follow people i like and i always saw nice stuff on my feed - my body or soul seems to have developed some sort of allergy against the whole concept of social media platforms like this. i just always feel so bad after being online there. x_x
the only place i truly feel comfortable is telegram, altough without premium it became much more annoying with all the bots and spam accounts sadly :c
the internet truly became a less and less enjoyable space in the last 10-15 years. it's sad, but i guess i'm alright. i know my weaknesses and i broke out of the addictive systems the big companies are trying to get everyone into as much as i can.
i can promise though, as long as i enjoy furry, doing furry art and i have time, my telegram channel + my discussion channel will live! even if that means having to kick 10 bots manually every single day!

FA+

Having people's lives, thoughts, and creative endeavours reduced to... content on a feed, intended to be parsed in mere seconds... is quite dehumanizing, when you think about it. Truly draining on the soul.
Sites like FA feel far more human than the increasingly enshittified social medias we've been siloed into over the last ten years, and I'm glad to follow artists such as yourself here. Take care of yourself, and I look forward to seeing more of your work. ❤
Thanks for your comment Mackerel, i really appreciate it and your compliment!! 🧡 i once thought of quitting fA because you can‘t see the interactions so easily and i thought no one cares anyways. But comments like this make me realise, how many people are still honestly enjoying my presence here, no matter how silent i sometimes can be. It was a good decision to instead ditch everything else!
I do hate how its got me addicted to it, I could do so much other productive things than scrolling for hours upon end on those platforms..
I too very much miss the old internet and forum type pages. Wish more ppl used those more but ah dashboard layout sites just seems more convenient for folks. (Too fast tho. Feels like im just consuming without slowing down and enjoying the stuff I see/like)
I'm glad your channels on telegram has been working best for you <3
Maybe you are able to figure out a way which fits better for you or you aren‘t that prone to fall for these systems as i am. But the most important thing is: to realise what it does to you and be honest about it…
So many people don‘t even see how addicted they are and are mentally and physically stressed when they don‘t have access to their platforms. Which is such an horryfing thought to me.
Old forum or gallery styled website times are definitely so much slower - and i think it‘s because it‘s more inconvenient it‘s better… bc you get tired of clicking around and this makes you spend less time there , at least for me xD
Thanks for your thoughts angelo, always appreciate it!
So much better! That's why I prefer being on FA (despite it all) or any of the forums I check out sparingly over the week. Much more slower and less doom and gloom posts nor any personal circles discourse that I should have never seen in the first place. (I should not being knowing that much about random people.)
