Your content has been removed because it violates our rules which state:
Code of Conduct: 2.7 Do not identify with or promote real hate, terrorist organizations, mass murderers, serial killers and their ideologies.
A hate group is one that advocates and practices hatred, hostility, or violence towards members of a designated sector of society (e.g. Nazism, ISIS, KKK) that are reflected in the real world. Users who identify with or promote real hate or terrorist organizations and their ideologies may be permanently banned from Fur Affinity without warning.
You have done this by posting about Charlie Kirk, even negatively.
You have NOT been penalized for this.
Thank you for your time.

I find myself completely mystified. I can't imagine how anything said in that journal could possibly qualify as "identifying with or promoting real hate, terrorist organizations, mass murderers, serial killers and their ideologies."
I understand what a touchy subject this is at the current moment, but ??!!
It'd be nice if they gave me even the slightest insight into their reasoning on this decision. I'm forced to wonder if some right winger complained about my journal and they just did this to placate them?

It's completely opaque.
I think I know what it is. They're doing damage control, treating it as if you're waving a cape for the trolls to come at you to challenge you, increasing the work of the admins... Possibly... I dunno.
Doesn’t make it any less morally questionable, though.
This whole Kirk stuff is really wearing me thin
I doubt that it was due to "Fear from the oligarchs", though.
While clearly bad, I think that since it says "automatically generated" that "Charlie Kirkkk" msy be a flagged word or phrases. It is entirely possible that the FA staff are using AI to auto mod content.
Now, remember the part where you wrote about religious nationalism? I didnt actually get a chance to read that journal before it was removed. But with religious nationalism comes authoritarianism. Right now, outside of FA, we have seen a formal move to legally modif trans identify into "TIVE" or trans identity violent extremism, effectively saying that if you can be framed or accused of an extreme act of violence, it is *because* of transgender status or "ideology".
Soooo, remember how furries by proximity to lgbt creators and people as well as being "an other" to many people (despite them craving our work) are also in the crosshairs of this extremist conservative movement and rigid administration. They literally want to socially profile furries, and FA is probably being watched by the FBI in general, but likely has a more direct order now to "research" it. FA staff probably know this and are preemptively removing anything that could endanger the site by speaking ill of a hero to the administration that currently controls the FBI and reports to the administration.
On the other side, FA may just not even want Kirkkk mentioned because with his name brings notoriety to his hate idealogy. While not ideal due to censorship, removing the ability for users to go in depth abt Kirkkk with code adjustments that target character length, could also be a means to purge references to him in general. This is in the period immediately following his death in order to do damage control.
I at the end of the day, do not believe in political intimidation to censor critique of the dead and think your journal should be restored. But, I do see why FA wants to cover its ass with an iron alloy 100x100 sqft block. Id advise to keep a low profile, and dont talk political on discord as well--we have confirmed they are monitoring discord in ways not unfamiliar to the USA spying on its citizens using extremism and profiling as their excuse to do so. Same shit. Different coat of paint.
