Politics bring out the worst in people. It makes them hate each other and it makes them eager to witch hunt anyone who even passingly resembles the side they hate. I feel for you, and I agree, best that everyone who doesn't want to be a part of that doesn't get dragged into it.

and this is why I try to avoid it all in general, IMO they all suck so i avoid it all in general because its a waste of my precious time and breath

Why, even?

Every political movement that exists likes the word freedom.
And for every nation, time period and political current it means different things. Direct opposites for some pairings.

On one paw it is hell of a name to take, on the other - shouldn't assume that anyone is spared the suspicion regardless the name they have.

Even saying "I don't do politics" is something I'd advice against. For it is also a sort of political position that lends support to 'status-quo' and someone will hate you for it.

There are literally people going around and finding people they think are important in some way or another and demanding they make a comment on whatever divisive thing is going on at the moment, as if it's some sort of obligation. It's as if these people are LOOKING for people to go after or trying to do cultural purity testing or something... awful stuff.

Recuerdo que había una página web de Facebook e la cual se compartían anécdotas computacionales, ténicos que reparaban pcs y diferentes cosas que les pasaron, la mayoría graciosas o de "increíble que esta persona haya hecho tal cosa (como enchufar el usb en la placa de red).
La cuestión es que desde hacía años la página usaba un fondo amarillo. Llegan las elecciones de presidente de Argentina, uno le escribió al admin de la página que debía de cambiar el color del fondo porque "alguien se podría confundir de que era en apoyo al PRO (partido de Macri)". La respuesta del admin (que el mismo posteó la imágen): "Sos re pelotudo hermano"

Me ha pasado de que me han calificado de facista tan solo por NO apoyar (ni estar encontra, pero sobre todo NO apoyar) la critica hacía Milei y NO estar a favor de que vuelva lo de antes. Cuando en realidad no me gusta ni lo de ahora ni lo de antes, pero ya por no hacer nada me dijeron que soy de derechas.

La gente se vuelve especialmente estúpida con el tema de la politica. Cuando al final terminan siendo todos iguales, o algunos "más iguales que otros"
