Welcome to my thoughts! Watch your step!
George E, Hardy, Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army Air Forces and United States Air Force, RIP.
June 8, 1925 - September 25, 2025. He was 100 years old.
LCOL Hardy was the last surviving member of the Tuskegee Airmen, the 99th Pursuit Squadron. The 99th, distinguished by the red paint on the tails of their aircraft, were an all-Black unit within the USAAF; the military was still segregated at the time.
Rest in peace, Colonel.

🇺🇸🕯️🎆
That's a piece of history who has departed this world. He lives only in memory now. But I hope he will be honoured with having something named after him. He deserves that.
Ahh, yes... one of but hundreds of legendary lines uttered by my favorite President.
Others:
-- March 1983 "Evil Empire" speech
-- "We begin bombing in five minutes", August 11, 1984 (during a sound check)
-- "It's morning again in America"
'High Flight'

She was a legendary freedom fighter who wrote "It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains.”
And bless them all.
Helluva Man who lived and endured some hellish times!
